Spearfishing Tips For Freedivers
Of All The Tips, This Is The Most Important One. Never Go Diving Alone!!!
Be extra cautious when diving new sites!!
Expect the worse case scenario and have a pre-executed plan in how to deal with it!
Prior to every day of diving, carefully inspect your gear.
Never place the value of gear over human life.
Find out as much information about the site you will be diving. Especially the Tide.

Keep a close, constant visual proximity to your diving partner so that you can give immediate assistance should there be a need!!!
Know where other divers and your own body are, in relation to the line of fire of your loaded speargun or polespear.
Relax and become a part of the body of water in which you are diving.
Make no thrashy, quick body movements.
Scan your hunting area with your eyes carefully before moving your head so as to not spook your game.
Dive within your realistic limits and experience.
Fully recover breath between all dives.
Obey the laws of the area in which you are spearfishing.
