Freediving Fins
Freediving Fins, also known as Long Fins, are essential to the Freediver because of the amount of propulsion that they produce. They are highly recommended for Freediving, Scuba Diving, Swimming and Training. I can see no other reason to use shorter fins for the Diver or Swimmer who is capable of using Long Fins, other than for instruction or training.
I no longer distribute Freediving Gear. These are just some of the types of gear that has been around. I show them so that you may take a look at what types of gear has been popular with successful Spearos!

OMER introduced these completely new at the beginning of 2003 after a long research to replace the carbon fiber blades, which had been until that time, the sole credible alternative for performing freediving fin blades. They were realized with the input from world champion Alberto March of Spain and spearfishing champions Marco Bardi and Fabio Antonini of Italy.
The result is an incredible blade, with the performance of a carbon fiber blade but with a much higher resistance to both impact and bending. The non-return plastic point is virtually unreachable for this application. Every blade is machined with extremely high tolerances, resulting in a complete consistency of production.
The BAT20 is the softer version, the BAT30 has a medium stiffness and the BAT40 is the one with highest stiffness and performing action.
1 - The blade is reinforced on the side with an additional extruded rubber profile which also channels the water during the strokes avoiding skidding. The blades are all sublimated with abrasion resistant camouflage color paint.
2 -The blade is scalped, at different thickness depending on the model, only in channels in the inside parts of the blade, leaving a thick crown on the perimeter which greatly increases impact resistance, without compromising the bending efficiency and blade return.
3 - These blades are produced from sheets of composite fibers, usually utilized for highly technical and performing electrical and aeronautical applications, which are then machined on high speed Rambaudi CNC machines.

The standard stiffness Millennium Blades are manufactured in green or black Moplen polypropylene plastic. The blades are 746mm long and 223mm wide, with a variable thickness from 5.0mm to 3.0mm. Suitable for all around diving less than 80ft. Millenium Black Complete fins.
1 - Omersub interchangeable foot pocket has been designed and developed internally by our technicians and it is manufactured with newest rubber compression molding technologies existing today. The foot pocket is produced with natural rubber in two different stiffness compounds throughout the different sections of the pocket to maximize the efficiency of the stroke without compromising comfort.
2 - The internal geometry of the foot pocket, thanks to the great experience of Beta Tools in the production of safety shoes, has been ergonomically designed to fit with total comfort.
3 - The design optimizes canalization of water on its surface and maximum impact resistance at the edges. Three reinforcing ribs have been added under the heel to increase the stroking power.

The Competition Blades have the same design of the standard Millennium blades but they are manufactured in polypropylene Moplen with the addition of 15% mineral talc. The result is a stiffer and more reactive blade ideal for deeper diving.
